022 - It has been a week of many achievements. Most notable has been finding a way to get all of my picks counted on CurlingZone. As a result, I manage not just one, but two fantasy curling accounts that rank in the top thirty in the world!
After a top-five finish in Week 10, I find myself right in the mix again during Week 11. In addition to all of this recent success, it appears to be highly probable that I am the first person to link the Wu-Tang Clan to fantasy curling. Finally, it has also become clear that by whatever metric you prefer (clicks, unique viewers, page visits), The Blank End has become one the premier blogs dedicated to fantasy curling, both domestically and internationally.
With emotions running high, the time is right to make a difficult decision. I am retiring the RespectedMadman from the world of fantasy curling. He has done incredible work in a very short amount of time. Now that the ship of fantasy curling has been righted, the RespectedMadman is stepping aside. No picks have been logged by this account during Week 11, and I do not intend to make any picks as the RespectedMadman moving forward. In truth, making hundreds of picks a week with one account is already too time consuming. There just isn’t enough carpal tunnel syndrome to go around. Reality is boring, however. I prefer the vision of the RespectedMadman stepping aside to make room for the OG of fantasy curling bloggers
Have no fear, fans. The RespectedMadman will always be waiting in the wings. If accounting errors pop-up in databases near you … if you are frustrated with the lack of communication from the site administrators that provide a free service … if you need more fantasy rappers in your fantasy curling, just flash the sign ...
... and remember always that the Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F' Wit.
